Marathi Community Picnic

We are extremely pleased to announce the annual Twin Cities Marathi Community Picnic. The picnic will be at Elm creek regional park on 27 June 2009.

One more time Mother Nature has blessed upon us and favored to all of us with some refreshing greenery. Flowers and trees have started blooming. All of us must have thoroughly enjoyed the Minnesota spring fever and now we are turning our gears to enjoy our most favorite Minnesota summer. MAM is ready to organize one of its traditional activities.

WHEN: June 27, 2009 From 3.30 PM to 8.00 PM
WHERE: Elm Creek Park Reserve - Elm Creek Park Dr Maple Grove MN 55369 – BLUE BIRD shelter
(Same place where last year’s picnic was organized. Please see the attached link for the details of location)

Elm Creek Park Reserve is located on County Road 81 northwest of Osseo in Maple Grove, Dayton and Champlin. Eastman Nature Center is located in Elm Creek Park Reserve, (Caution: Map Quest and Google maps do not reflect recent road changes.)

From the north (Anoka/Champlin): Take Hwy 169 south to CR 81. Turn north/west on CR 81 to Elm Creek Blvd. Turn right at Elm Creek Blvd. Take second right out of roundabout onto park road.

From northbound 494 or I-94 (northwest metro): Exit I-94 at Maple Grove Pkwy and turn right/northeast. Continue on Maple Grove Pkwy to CR 81. Turn right/east onto CR 81. Turn left onto Elm Creek Blvd. Take second right out of roundabout onto park road.

From Osseo (east metro): Take CR 81 northwest to Elm Creek Blvd. Turn right at Elm Creek Blvd; take second right out of roundabout onto park road.

From west or south metro: Take Hwy 169 to CR 81. Turn left/northwest on CR 81 to Elm Creek Blvd. Turn right at Elm Creek Blvd. Take second right out of roundabout onto park road.
